Exciting and sad news

I think I want to share the exciting news first! Cody has been crawling for a week now! Hooray to Cody! I think reaching milestones are even more exciting when your child has a disability. Cody is also grabbing things like crazy! He's starting to remind me alot like Jeremy was at one!
Now for some important sad news I want everyone to be aware of-- There's this movie in theaters right now The Change Up  where they say some hurtful remarks about children with disabilities and Down Syndrome. I want everyone to NOT see it. If you love Cody, don't support that movie. Please spread the word about that movie!

Coco's progress

I know I have some updating to do, don't I?? Well Cody's 1st birthday is approaching in a couple of weeks, I have some milestones to share--he sits up on his own, he sings a lot, dances and loves watching his brother Jeremy play.  Jeremy even tells me he wants to play with Cody, which is so sweet.
As my other friends babies are crawling, starting to walk and cutting teeth, I can't help but wish Cody could be doing that too, but I remind myself that Cody's journey is going to be different & will be that much more exciting when he does start crawling, walking & get teeth. It's probably normal that I compare him to other babies, and I just have a tendency to do the comparison.
I am so blessed that Cody's in my life and to be his mommy. When I am apart from him and return, he always welcomes me the biggest smile and it warms his heart.  I can't imagine life without him because he has brought joy and life into our house. He's the most loving little boy you've ever known!

Cody @ 7 months

Cody has been eating solid foods since he was six months and we're amazed that he eats better than his older brother did when he started solids.  Our precious guy also likes standing in our laps! He is getting stronger and stronger all the time! He doesn't quite sit alone yet but I think he's about there.  He still loves to be held, talked to and loves looking at your face :). He especially likes his mommy's face cause I talk to him and give him kisses. In fact, when I came back from working -which I hardly sub these days, but I had- he had the biggest smile on his face when he saw Mommy.
He also has been such a chatterbox! He babbles and loves to say "da da da da"  and "mama". He likes to talk to you so if you hold him, you have to  conversate w/ him cause he's the cutest thing when he talks! Our whole family just adores and loves him! Cody, you are so loved <3!
